The dates are Oct 5th (leaving late in the day or early evening), returning either Thursday, Oct 15th or Saturday, Oct 17th if adding the two extra days.
 
HIGHLIGHTS:
Fly to the island of NAXOS in the Aegean Sea. There we will relax for three nights. Visit the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE of the ruins of Portara & view the temple of Apollo.
Enjoy a cooking class and drink the local wine.
Free time to explore or chill with a Greek Mojito & your travel novel by the pool or the beach.
Walk on one of the island's best sandy beaches.
Indulge at a Michelin- caliber restaurant at sunset overlooking the aqua waters.
Sail away to hidden rock formations where you can jump in the healing salt waters of the Mediterranean.
Hydra Ferry to PAROS to embark on another geographic adventure. Experience yet another quant village where white-washed villages stand out amongst the azure water & sky.
Sail the blue lagoon between Paros & anti Paros.
Hike the byzantine trail & visit "The church of 100 doors".
Experience a local vineyard for sumptuous wine tasting. Sample local olives as well.
Water taxi to the world-famous beaches for the day.
Ferry to Santorini and take in the breathtaking Caldera.
Experience all the rage of a Santorini sunset in Oia.
Day trip to the Angels of Emporio.
Walk the 250 stairs to Ammoudi Bay to have lunch in an adorable taverna.
Visit the UWHS Akrotiri. This archaeological site doesn't disappoint. You could try another side excursion instead of Akrotiri.
Travel to Athens to experience the Acropolis & Parthenon, yet another UWHS.
Meander the streets of Plaka & enjoy dinner at a rooftop restaurant.
Visit a museum or archaeological site in the second half of the day.
Enjoy a farewell dinner for those leaving in the morning.
If planning to extend the trip, the extra two days......Travel by bus or train to Meteora to see the monasteries that sit 1,800 ft. above the ground. View the interior of a couple along the way.
On the last full day, weather permitting....take a day trip to the unique island of Hydra.

Once the second deposit has been received, you will receive an email confirmation with a more detailed itinerary. Until we are a month out, some details & order of events may change. More often than not, the itinerary is followed as planned.
You will receive more detailed Information in the packet that will go out in July. There are forms to fill out with instructions.
Please check your passport expiration dates. You want the date of expiration to be no less than 3 months after the trip takes place. Please ask if any concerns so we can get it straightened out long before the trip.
